Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I replace these components?

Per Airpura, under typical residential use: the poly prefilter about every 12 months, the UV-C lamp and TitanClean PCO reflector every 18–24 months, the carbon filter every 24 months and the HEPA filter every 3–5 years. Replace the lamp on schedule even if it still lights — UV output declines with use.

How do I know it is time to replace a filter?

Watch for returning odors (carbon filter), visible dust loading on the prefilter and noticeably reduced airflow. Airpura units do not have a filter-change indicator, so note your install dates and follow the intervals above.

Which bundle fits my model?

Bundle #1 fits all four models. Bundles #2–#5 add the model-specific HEPA: #2 for the P600, #3 for the P600+, #4 for the P614 and #5 for the P614+ — the + models use the TiO2-coated HEPA.

How should I store spare filters?

Keep filters sealed in their original packaging in a cool, dry indoor space, and leave the UV lamp and PCO reflector in their protective packaging until installation. Carbon filters should stay sealed so they do not adsorb ambient odors before use.
