Shipping: how fast & how it works

Free standard shipping on every US order — no shipping charges at checkout, no hidden fees, and every shipment is insured against loss or damage.

Processing: 1–2 business days. Order before 12:00 PM EST and processing begins the same day.
Delivery: 4–7 business days via USPS, UPS or FedEx. Tracking is emailed the moment your order ships.
Large items (solar kits, batteries, shelters): delivered by LTL freight carriers such as FedEx Freight, Old Dominion or XPO. The carrier calls ahead to schedule a delivery window — please inspect the pallet and note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing, and we’ll take care of the rest.

What is your Return Policy?

At OffGrid Horizon, we want every customer to shop with confidence. If something doesn’t go as planned, we’ve made returns and refunds simple and fair. Here’s how it works:

1. Return Window

You can request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. Unfortunately, we’re unable to accept returns after that time frame.

2. Who Pays for Return Shipping?

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we’ll cover the return shipping cost — and you’ll receive a full 100% refund or replacement, including any original shipping costs.
If you’re returning an item because you changed your mind, you’ll be responsible for return shipping, and a 25% restocking fee applies.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

Received something broken or not working properly? Contact us within 30 days. We’ll provide a prepaid return label and once the item is returned and inspected, we’ll issue either a full refund or a replacement.

4. Changed Your Mind?

If you no longer want the item, you can return it within 30 days — as long as it’s unused, unopened, in its original packaging, and in resellable condition.

5. Refund Processing

Once we receive and approve your return, we’ll send a confirmation email and issue a refund to your original payment method within 7 business days. Please allow additional time for banks or credit card companies to process and reflect the refund.

Product Description

The Nova 2X Tower is a steel pedestal base built for the MF Fire Nova 2X — the 2.4 cu ft stove that heats up to 2,500 sq ft with AirX standard. Nova fireboxes ship without a base, and this is the option for people running a serious daily heater: it raises the fire closer to eye level and keeps about five loads of wood stored right in the base.

Key Features

Built-in wood storage. The base bay holds about 5 loads of Nova-sized wood, per MF Fire — a real convenience when the 2X is your primary heat.
Fire nearer eye level. Lifts the firebox roughly 19" higher than it sits on standard legs, making the flames visible from anywhere in the room.
Easy loading height. Less bending on a stove you may be reloading around the clock in cold snaps.
Simplest hearth pad. All Tower configurations need only a UL 1618 listed Type 1 ember-only pad. On short legs, by contrast, a Nova 2X needs a thermal pad rated R-1.35 to R-2.0.
Steel construction, 5-year warranty. MF Fire covers the Tower structure for 5 years (registration required).

Choosing Your Base

Pick the Tower when you want height, storage, and a stove that anchors the room. If a lower profile suits your space better, the leg kits are the budget-friendly route: the 9" leg kit keeps the ember-only pad, while 3" legs put a Nova 2X at just 26.5" overall but require a Type 2 thermal pad (R-1.35 with the ash lip, R-2.0 without). Prefer somewhere to sit by the fire? The Nova Series Bench puts the 2X at 42" overall on a 48"-wide steel bench with storage below. For fireplace installations, use the Nova 2X insert surround instead of a base.

Warranty & Support

OffGrid Horizon is a family-owned, authorized MF Fire dealer. The Tower structure carries MF Fire's 5-year warranty and the stove's firebox welds carry the Limited Lifetime warranty (defined as up to 7 years) — register your products to activate coverage. The Tower ships by freight: inspect it before signing and call us at (302) 496-3554 if anything looks off.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this base fit the Nova C?

No. Each Tower is sized to its firebox — this one fits the Nova 2X. The Nova C Tower Base is the version for the smaller stove.

Is the stove included?

No, this listing is the base only. Pair it with a Nova 2X in satin black or charcoal.

What hearth pad do I need?

A UL 1618 listed Type 1 ember-only pad, in every Tower configuration — including with the optional Tower 6" leg kit (available separately; ask us). That is a meaningfully simpler requirement than the thermal pad a Nova 2X needs on short legs.

Can I add a blower fan?

Yes. Tower and Bench installations use the Tower/Bench room blower fan, which differs from the freestanding version.

Can this go in a mobile home?

No. Nova stoves are UL 1482 safety listed but are not approved for mobile home installation.
