Shipping: how fast & how it works

Free standard shipping on every US order — no shipping charges at checkout, no hidden fees, and every shipment is insured against loss or damage.

Processing: 1–2 business days. Order before 12:00 PM EST and processing begins the same day.
Delivery: 4–7 business days via USPS, UPS or FedEx. Tracking is emailed the moment your order ships.
Large items (solar kits, batteries, shelters): delivered by LTL freight carriers such as FedEx Freight, Old Dominion or XPO. The carrier calls ahead to schedule a delivery window — please inspect the pallet and note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing, and we’ll take care of the rest.

What is your Return Policy?

At OffGrid Horizon, we want every customer to shop with confidence. If something doesn’t go as planned, we’ve made returns and refunds simple and fair. Here’s how it works:

1. Return Window

You can request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. Unfortunately, we’re unable to accept returns after that time frame.

2. Who Pays for Return Shipping?

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we’ll cover the return shipping cost — and you’ll receive a full 100% refund or replacement, including any original shipping costs.
If you’re returning an item because you changed your mind, you’ll be responsible for return shipping, and a 25% restocking fee applies.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

Received something broken or not working properly? Contact us within 30 days. We’ll provide a prepaid return label and once the item is returned and inspected, we’ll issue either a full refund or a replacement.

4. Changed Your Mind?

If you no longer want the item, you can return it within 30 days — as long as it’s unused, unopened, in its original packaging, and in resellable condition.

5. Refund Processing

Once we receive and approve your return, we’ll send a confirmation email and issue a refund to your original payment method within 7 business days. Please allow additional time for banks or credit card companies to process and reflect the refund.

Product Description

The Nova Series Bench is a 48"-wide steel bench base that carries either MF Fire Nova firebox — the Nova C or the Nova 2X — with wood storage beneath and bench space beside the fire. Nova fireboxes ship without a base, and this is the one to choose if you want the stove to feel like furniture: a warm seat, a place for the next few logs, and the fire raised to a comfortable height.

Key Features

One bench, both stoves. Unlike the Tower bases, a single Bench fits the Nova C and the Nova 2X.
Wood storage beneath. Keep your next loads under the stove instead of stacked across the room.
Bench-seat warmth. The 48" steel bench extends beside the firebox — the classic warm perch next to the fire.
Comfortable stove height. The bench stands 18.5" tall, putting a Nova C at 39.5" overall and a Nova 2X at 42" overall.
Steel construction, 5-year warranty. MF Fire covers the Bench structure for 5 years (registration required).

Choosing Your Base

Choose the Bench when you want seating, storage, and a wide, furniture-like footprint — and you have the 48" of hearth width to give it. If floor space is tight, the leg kits keep the footprint to the stove itself: the 9" leg kit is the pick for easy loading and a simple ember-only pad. If you want maximum height and storage in a narrower column, compare the Nova C Tower (43" overall) and Nova 2X Tower (45.5" overall) — though note each Tower fits only its own firebox, while this Bench fits both.

Warranty & Support

OffGrid Horizon is a family-owned, authorized MF Fire dealer. The Bench structure carries MF Fire's 5-year warranty and the stove's firebox welds carry the Limited Lifetime warranty (defined as up to 7 years) — register your products to activate coverage. The Bench ships by freight: inspect it before signing and call us at (302) 496-3554 if anything looks off.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Bench really fit both the Nova C and the Nova 2X?

Yes — one bench base fits either firebox, which also means it can stay if you ever move between Nova models. The stove mounts on the bench with seating and storage alongside.

Is the stove included?

No, this is the bench base only. Add a Nova C or Nova 2X separately, in satin black or charcoal.

What hearth pad do I need under a bench installation?

A UL 1618 listed pad is required, sized per the MF Fire manual. Pad type depends on your configuration — call us at (302) 496-3554 before ordering and we will confirm it for your stove.

How much wood fits underneath?

The storage bay runs beneath the bench. MF Fire does not publish a load count for the Bench the way it does for the Towers, so plan on it holding your next few loads rather than a full day's supply — ask us if capacity is a deciding factor.

Can I add a blower fan?

Yes. Bench and Tower installations use the Tower/Bench room blower fan, which differs from the freestanding version.
