Charging lithium cells below freezing damages them, so every LiFePO4 battery must either block cold charging or heat itself. This CORE battery does the latter: when cell temperature falls below 32°F and a charging source supplying more than 10A is connected, internal heating elements warm the cells automatically, then shut off above 59°F, per Renogy. Heating power comes from the charger, not from stored energy. The BMS still provides low-temperature cutoffs as a backstop — charging is blocked below 32°F until the heater does its work, and discharge cuts off at -4°F.

A single battery's 200A continuous discharge supports roughly 2,500W of continuous 12V inverter load, so pair one battery with an inverter of that class or keep larger inverters below the battery's limit; with two or more in parallel, the Renogy REGO 3000W 12V split-phase inverter charger runs at full output with headroom.
