The carrier calls ahead to schedule a delivery window — please inspect the pallet and note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing, and we’ll take care of the rest.

What is your Return Policy?

At OffGrid Horizon, we want every customer to shop with confidence. If something doesn’t go as planned, we’ve made returns and refunds simple and fair. Here’s how it works:

1. Return Window

You can request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. Unfortunately, we’re unable to accept returns after that time frame.

2. Who Pays for Return Shipping?

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we’ll cover the return shipping cost — and you’ll receive a full 100% refund or replacement, including any original shipping costs.
If you’re returning an item because you changed your mind, you’ll be responsible for return shipping, and a 25% restocking fee applies.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

Received something broken or not working properly? Contact us within 30 days. We’ll provide a prepaid return label and once the item is returned and inspected, we’ll issue either a full refund or a replacement.

4. Changed Your Mind?

If you no longer want the item, you can return it within 30 days — as long as it’s unused, unopened, in its original packaging, and in resellable condition.

5. Refund Processing

Once we receive and approve your return, we’ll send a confirmation email and issue a refund to your original payment method within 7 business days. Please allow additional time for banks or credit card companies to process and reflect the refund.

This two-pack of Renogy Core Mini 12V 300Ah LiFePO4 batteries delivers a 12V 600Ah (7,680Wh) bank from two compact, 55.1 lb batteries. Each one carries low-temperature charge protection, a 200A continuous discharge rating, and a case that fits where taller 300Ah batteries will not.

Who This Bank Is For

A 600Ah bank is the sweet spot for many couples living in RVs and camper vans, and for weekend cabins running a refrigerator, lights, water pump, and a mid-size inverter. Two batteries also mean each unit stays at a manageable 55.1 lb during installation. The built-in protection blocks charging below 32°F to protect the cells, which covers shoulder-season cold; if you must recharge during extended hard freezes, look to Renogy's self-heating models instead.

Cold Weather, Explained

These batteries use low-temperature charge protection rather than heating. Below 32°F the BMS disconnects the charge circuit so cold cells are not damaged; charging resumes automatically once the battery warms to about 41°F, per Renogy. Discharge keeps working down to -4°F, so loads stay powered in the cold — you just cannot recharge until the battery warms. For recharging during sustained sub-freezing weather, Renogy's self-heating and DuoHeat models warm their own cells; this model does not.

System Fit & Expansion

In parallel, the pair delivers up to 400A combined, which feeds the Renogy REGO 3000W 12V inverter charger with LCD display at full output with headroom to spare. Charge sources should stay within 150A per battery; the Renogy 800W solar kit with REGO 60A MPPT controller is a matched starting array, and a DC-DC charger handles alternator charging. Per Renogy, the platform expands to 4 in series or 4 in parallel and up to 4S4P (48V 1,200Ah / 61.44kWh) — series banks change system voltage and require equipment rated for it. Shipping

At about 110 lb of batteries, this two-pack ships as heavy freight — typically LTL on a pallet within the US. Inspect the pallet before signing the delivery receipt; note any damage with the driver and call us at (302) 496-3554.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I add these to my existing battery bank? Renogy recommends banks built from identical batteries of similar age and state of charge. Do not mix with lead-acid or different lithium models.

Can I charge from my vehicle's alternator? Yes, through a DC-DC charger with a LiFePO4 profile, sized within 150A per battery. Do not wire directly to the alternator.

What charger profile should I use? A lithium (LiFePO4) profile within the battery's 10V to 14.8V operating range, per Renogy. Flooded or AGM lead-acid profiles may not charge these fully or correctly.

How should I store them over winter? Disconnect loads and chargers, store within -4°F to 140°F at a partial state of charge, and top up periodically per the Renogy manual.

Will they charge below freezing? No — by design. The BMS blocks charging at 32°F and below and resumes around 41°F. Discharge continues to -4°F.

Is it safe to install them indoors? LiFePO4 batteries do not off-gas during normal operation the way flooded lead-acid batteries do, so enclosed compartments are common installs. Follow the Renogy manual's mounting and clearance guidance.

How do I monitor state of charge? No Bluetooth is built in; use an external shunt-based battery monitor at the bank's negative terminal.
