Delivery: 4–7 business days via USPS, UPS or FedEx. Tracking is emailed the moment your order ships.
Large items (solar kits, batteries, shelters): delivered by LTL freight carriers such as FedEx Freight, Old Dominion or XPO. The carrier calls ahead to schedule a delivery window — please inspect the pallet and note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing, and we’ll take care of the rest.

What is your Return Policy?

At OffGrid Horizon, we want every customer to shop with confidence. If something doesn’t go as planned, we’ve made returns and refunds simple and fair. Here’s how it works:

1. Return Window

You can request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. Unfortunately, we’re unable to accept returns after that time frame.

2. Who Pays for Return Shipping?

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we’ll cover the return shipping cost — and you’ll receive a full 100% refund or replacement, including any original shipping costs.
If you’re returning an item because you changed your mind, you’ll be responsible for return shipping, and a 25% restocking fee applies.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

Received something broken or not working properly? Contact us within 30 days. We’ll provide a prepaid return label and once the item is returned and inspected, we’ll issue either a full refund or a replacement.

4. Changed Your Mind?

If you no longer want the item, you can return it within 30 days — as long as it’s unused, unopened, in its original packaging, and in resellable condition.

5. Refund Processing

Once we receive and approve your return, we’ll send a confirmation email and issue a refund to your original payment method within 7 business days. Please allow additional time for banks or credit card companies to process and reflect the refund.

The Renogy Core Mini 12V 300Ah LiFePO4 battery puts 3,840Wh of storage into a compact 55.1 lb case with built-in low-temperature charge protection. One battery replaces a pair of typical 100Ah lead-acid batteries several times over in usable capacity, and it fits compartments that full-size 300Ah batteries do not.

Cold Weather, Explained

This battery uses low-temperature charge protection, not heating. Charging lithium cells below freezing causes permanent damage, so at 32°F and below the BMS disconnects the charge circuit and reconnects once the battery warms to about 41°F, per Renogy. Discharge continues down to -4°F, so your loads run through cold nights even when charging is paused. Renogy's self-heating and DuoHeat batteries add internal heaters for charging in sustained freezes; this model relies on protection instead, which is why it costs less.

System Fit & Expansion

The 200A continuous discharge supports roughly 2,500W of continuous 12V inverter load. That pairs one battery sensibly with inverters up to that class; if you want the Renogy REGO 3000W 12V inverter charger at full output, plan on two of these in parallel. For charging, stay within 150A: the Renogy 800W solar kit with REGO 60A MPPT charge controller is a matched solar source, and a DC-DC charger handles the alternator. Frequently Asked Questions

Can I add this to my existing bank? Only alongside identical 12V 300Ah Core Mini batteries of similar age and state of charge. Do not mix with lead-acid or different lithium models.

Can I charge it from my vehicle's alternator? Yes, through a DC-DC charger with a LiFePO4 profile sized within the 150A max charge current. Direct alternator connection is not recommended.

What charger profile should I use? A lithium (LiFePO4) profile within the battery's 10V to 14.8V operating range, per Renogy. Flooded or AGM lead-acid profiles may not charge it fully or correctly.

How should I store it over winter? Disconnect loads and chargers, store within -4°F to 140°F at a partial state of charge, and top up periodically per the Renogy manual.

Will it charge below freezing? No — by design. The BMS blocks charging at 32°F and below and resumes around 41°F; discharge continues to -4°F.

Is it safe to install indoors or under a seat? LiFePO4 batteries do not off-gas during normal operation the way flooded lead-acid batteries do, so enclosed compartments are common installs. Follow the Renogy manual's mounting, clearance, and temperature guidance.

How big an inverter can it run? Keep continuous draw within the 200A discharge limit — roughly 2,500W at 12V. Larger inverters need a second battery in parallel.
