EWAVE Electric Jetboards, eFoils and Electric Watercraft
EWAVE builds battery-powered watercraft for lakes, bays and waterfront properties: carbon fiber electric jetboards (also called electric surfboards or jet surfboards), a hydrofoil attachment that turns those boards into an eFoil, the Formula Future electric jet boat and a 10 kW electric outboard motor. Everything runs on quiet, rechargeable 48V lithium power, with no fuel to buy, mix or store and no exhaust on the water.
How to choose
- Electric jetboards – the EWAVE V2-6000 (11.8 kW, about 30 mph) for riders stepping into performance jetboarding, and the EWAVE R-7000 (15 kW, about 39 mph) for experienced riders and racing.
- eFoiling – add the EWAVE Hydrofoil Attachment to either jetboard to lift above the water for a smoother, quieter ride and longer ride times.
- Electric jet boat – the Formula Future EWE1, a 30 kW single-seat electric personal watercraft with two batteries included, available in Silver Gray, Blue and Red, plus a matching trailer.
- Boats – the EWAVE 10 kW 48V electric outboard for jon boats, skiffs and tenders.
- Spare batteries – 48V 60Ah packs with Samsung or Sony 21700 cells for more time on the water.

EWAVE FAQ
What is the difference between an electric jetboard and an eFoil?
An electric jetboard uses a jet drive to plane across the surface of the water, like a surfboard with a motor. An eFoil uses a hydrofoil wing under the board to lift it above the water, which gives a smoother ride over chop and longer ride times. With the EWAVE Hydrofoil Attachment, the V2-6000 and R-7000 can be ridden either way.
How long does an EWAVE battery last?
EWAVE rates its jetboards and the Formula Future at 30 to 60 minutes per charge, and the hydrofoil setup at 60 to 80 minutes. The 48V 60Ah packs recharge in about 2.5 hours. A spare battery lets you swap packs and keep riding.
Which EWAVE jetboard should I choose?
The V2-6000 suits riders moving into performance jetboarding. The R-7000 is EWAVE's high-performance model for experienced riders and racing, with more power and a higher top speed on the same 70-inch carbon fiber platform.
Does the Formula Future come with batteries?
Yes. The Formula Future EWE1 includes two 48V 60Ah lithium battery packs. The trailer is sold separately.
Do I need to register an electric jet boat or jetboard?
Rules vary by state and waterway. Many states treat electric jet boats and personal watercraft the same as gas-powered vessels for registration, boater education and age requirements, so check your state's boating rules before your first ride.
What warranty comes with EWAVE products?
EWAVE's limited manufacturer warranty covers components for 12 months and batteries for 9 months or 500 charge cycles, whichever comes first. See each product page for details, or contact us and we will help with any claim.
