Stated assumptions: estimates assume 4.5 peak sun hours per day (mid-range US annual average; regional values roughly 3.5 to 5.5), 25% combined system losses, and AGM discharge held to 50% DOD — the depth Renogy's cycle rating uses. Appliance wattages are typical estimates.

Can it run a refrigerator or freezer full-time?
A small, efficient unit (~0.8-1kWh/day typical) would consume most of the estimated daily harvest, leaving little for tools and lights. It works in mild conditions, but budget your loads carefully or step up in array size.
Can I expand the solar array?
Modestly. Per Renogy, the Rover Li 40A tops out at 100VDC input, and its power ceiling on a 12V bank leaves limited headroom above the included 400W. Call us before adding panels.
Will the inverter start my compressor?
