Shipping
This kit ships as multiple heavy cartons and typically travels LTL freight on a pallet within the US. The carrier will schedule delivery; a liftgate is standard for residential stops. Inspect all cartons before signing the delivery receipt, note any damage or shortage on the receipt, and contact us right away so we can resolve it with the carrier.

What do I gain over the AGM version?
Per Renogy's ratings: 5,000 cycles at 80% DOD versus 500 cycles at 50% DOD, roughly 2.9kWh usable versus 1.8kWh from the same nominal bank, and 37 lb less weight per battery. AGM's advantages are lower up-front cost and simple cold-weather storage.
Can the batteries charge in freezing weather?
These are standard (non-heated) LiFePO4 batteries, and lithium cells must not be charged below freezing; the BMS provides protection. Plan an insulated or heated battery location for winter charging, or ask us about Renogy's self-heating battery options.
Can I expand the battery bank later?
Renogy supports paralleling matching batteries. If you already know you'll need much more storage, it's cleaner to plan the bank up front — for example around the Renogy 4-pack 12V 300Ah LiFePO4 batteries — rather than mixing models later. Call us and we'll help you plan.
Can I add more solar?
Modestly — per Renogy the Rover Li 40A accepts up to 100VDC input, and its power ceiling on a 12V bank leaves limited room above 400W. Talk to us before buying extra panels.
Will it start my compressor or table saw?
The 6,000W surge rating per Renogy handles most small and mid-size shop motors; check your tool's startup draw to be sure.
What does the 500A shunt monitor do?
It counts amp-hours in and out at the battery terminal, giving an accurate state-of-charge display — more reliable than voltage readings, and a good cross-check alongside the batteries' Bluetooth data.
