Flexible panels usually mount flat to the roof, which costs some harvest versus tilted panels. Using conservative assumptions (4 peak sun hours, 30% derate for flat mounting, heat, and wiring):

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I add a fourth panel later?
Not on this charger. The 50A DC-DC charger's solar input tops out at 660W per Renogy, and the included 600W array already uses nearly all of it. If you expect to grow past 600W, plan around a higher-capacity MPPT controller instead.
Batteries are not included. Which should I pair?
The charger supports lithium profiles, and one Renogy Core 12V 300Ah self-heating LiFePO4 (about 3,840Wh) covers roughly two days of the example loads above, with self-heating for sub-freezing charging.
Does this charge from my alternator while driving?
Yes. That is the point of the DC-DC charger: it connects to the starter battery circuit and the solar array, and charges the house battery from both, per Renogy. Confirm your alternator has capacity to spare; smart/variable-voltage alternators are supported via the charger's settings per the Renogy manual.
How do the flexible panels mount: adhesive or screws?
Renogy's manual covers both approaches (perimeter fastening through the grommets or bonding with a suitable adhesive/VHB system). Neither adhesive nor fasteners are included, and flat, well-supported mounting with airflow consideration matters for panel life, so follow the manual closely.
Roof mount or ground deploy?
These panels are meant to be fixed to a vehicle or structure surface. If you want panels you can chase the sun with, a portable suitcase panel is the better tool; see our Renogy collection.
Is an inverter included?
No. DC loads (fridge, fans, lights, USB) run straight off the battery. If you need 120V AC outlets, add a pure sine wave inverter such as the Renogy REGO 3000W 12V inverter charger, sized to your largest AC load.

Weight and shape. At 10.8 lb each and 0.1 in thick they suit curved or load-limited roofs. Rigid panels are more efficient per square foot and carry a longer workmanship warranty, so choose rigid if your roof allows it.
