Delivery: 4–7 business days via USPS, UPS or FedEx. Tracking is emailed the moment your order ships.
Large items (solar kits, batteries, shelters): delivered by LTL freight carriers such as FedEx Freight, Old Dominion or XPO. The carrier calls ahead to schedule a delivery window — please inspect the pallet and note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing, and we’ll take care of the rest.

What is your Return Policy?

At OffGrid Horizon, we want every customer to shop with confidence. If something doesn’t go as planned, we’ve made returns and refunds simple and fair. Here’s how it works:

1. Return Window

You can request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. Unfortunately, we’re unable to accept returns after that time frame.

2. Who Pays for Return Shipping?

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we’ll cover the return shipping cost — and you’ll receive a full 100% refund or replacement, including any original shipping costs.
If you’re returning an item because you changed your mind, you’ll be responsible for return shipping, and a 25% restocking fee applies.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

Received something broken or not working properly? Contact us within 30 days. We’ll provide a prepaid return label and once the item is returned and inspected, we’ll issue either a full refund or a replacement.

4. Changed Your Mind?

If you no longer want the item, you can return it within 30 days — as long as it’s unused, unopened, in its original packaging, and in resellable condition.

5. Refund Processing

Once we receive and approve your return, we’ll send a confirmation email and issue a refund to your original payment method within 7 business days. Please allow additional time for banks or credit card companies to process and reflect the refund.

Product Description

The Renogy 600W 12V Off-Grid Kit with rigid panels (RKIT600PB-R60D3) pairs three 200W 16BB N-Type panels with the Rover 60A MPPT charge controller, plus the mounting brackets, cabling, fusing, and Bluetooth module to wire it into a 12V system. The Rover 60A is rated for up to 800W of PV at 12V per Renogy, so this kit leaves room to add a fourth panel later, a practical difference from kits that ship at their controller's ceiling.

Who This Kit Is For

This kit fits RVs, cabins, sheds, and workshops with flat, solid mounting surfaces and daily loads like a refrigerator, lights, electronics, and a water pump. Rigid glass-and-aluminum panels are the default choice when the roof allows them: higher efficiency than flexible panels (20.7% vs 16.7% module efficiency, per Renogy) and a 10-year workmanship warranty versus 5 years. What Will It Run?

Using conservative assumptions (4 peak sun hours, 25% derate for temperature, wiring, and angle):

Daily harvest: 600W x 4 h x 0.75 = roughly 1,800Wh per day.
Example day: 12V fridge (about 1,100Wh) + LED lights (75Wh) + laptops and phones (250Wh) + water pump and misc (150Wh) = roughly 1,575Wh, inside the estimate with margin.
Battery sizing: a 12V bank of roughly 150 to 300Ah (about 1,900 to 3,800Wh) stores one to two days of production for cloudy stretches.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I add a fourth panel later?

Yes. The Rover 60A accepts up to 800W of PV on a 12V system per Renogy, so one more 200W panel fits. On a 24V battery bank the ceiling rises to 1,600W, which makes this controller a reasonable base for a system you expect to grow.

Batteries are not included. Which should I pair?

The controller supports lithium profiles. The Renogy Pro S1 12V 240Ah LiFePO4 (about 3,000Wh) banks over a day and a half of this kit's estimated production; for cold climates, the Core 12V 300Ah self-heating LiFePO4 can charge below freezing.

Series or parallel wiring for the three panels?

All three in series is about 112V Voc, under the controller's 145V limit per Renogy's manual, and works well for longer cable runs; series-parallel is not symmetric with three panels, so most installs run 3S or 3P. Cold weather raises Voc, so keep headroom.

Roof or ground mount?

The included Z-brackets suit flat roof mounting on an RV or outbuilding. For ground mounting, add a tilt rack; at this array size, a proper winter tilt angle meaningfully improves short-day harvest.

Can it charge while I drive?

Not through this controller; it is solar-only. For alternator charging on an RV or van, add a DC-DC charger alongside, or consider the flexible-panel version of this kit, which is built around a dual-input DC-DC charger.

Is an inverter included?

No. The kit includes battery-to-inverter cables, but the inverter itself is separate; browse our Renogy collection for pure sine wave options sized to your AC loads.
