The carrier calls ahead to schedule a delivery window — please inspect the pallet and note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing, and we’ll take care of the rest.

What is your Return Policy?

At OffGrid Horizon, we want every customer to shop with confidence. If something doesn’t go as planned, we’ve made returns and refunds simple and fair. Here’s how it works:

1. Return Window

You can request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. Unfortunately, we’re unable to accept returns after that time frame.

2. Who Pays for Return Shipping?

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we’ll cover the return shipping cost — and you’ll receive a full 100% refund or replacement, including any original shipping costs.
If you’re returning an item because you changed your mind, you’ll be responsible for return shipping, and a 25% restocking fee applies.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

Received something broken or not working properly? Contact us within 30 days. We’ll provide a prepaid return label and once the item is returned and inspected, we’ll issue either a full refund or a replacement.

4. Changed Your Mind?

If you no longer want the item, you can return it within 30 days — as long as it’s unused, unopened, in its original packaging, and in resellable condition.

5. Refund Processing

Once we receive and approve your return, we’ll send a confirmation email and issue a refund to your original payment method within 7 business days. Please allow additional time for banks or credit card companies to process and reflect the refund.

Eight hundred watts is the practical ceiling for a 12V system on this controller, which makes this a buy-once array for an RV, cabin, or van that runs a fridge, electronics, and lights every day.

Who This Kit Is For

This kit fits people who already know they need real daily production, not a starter array: full-time or heavy-use RVers, small cabins, and van builds where a refrigerator, laptops, fans, and water pump run day in and day out. What Will It Run?

Using conservative assumptions (4 peak sun hours, 25% derate for temperature, wiring, and imperfect angle):

Daily harvest: 800W x 4 h x 0.75 = roughly 2,400Wh per day. Tilted panels in summer can beat this; short winter days will undercut it.
Example day: 12V fridge (about 1,100Wh) + vent fan (240Wh) + lights (75Wh) + laptops and phones (300Wh) + water pump and misc (150Wh) = roughly 1,865Wh, inside the estimate with cushion for a cloudy afternoon.
Storage to match: a battery bank of roughly 2,400 to 4,800Wh (about 200 to 400Ah at 12V) banks one to two days of production.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I add more panels later?

No, and we would rather tell you now: the REGO 60A's PV input is rated 800W at its 12V nominal system voltage per Renogy, and this kit ships with exactly 800W. If your load math says you will need more, step up to a larger controller or a higher-voltage system before you buy.

How should the four panels be wired?

Two strings of two panels in series, paralleled (2S2P), keeps the array around 75V Voc, inside the controller's 100V input limit per Renogy, while limiting current. Leave voltage headroom for cold mornings, when Voc rises.

Batteries are not included. Which should I pair?

The controller has an LFP profile, and lithium suits daily cycling. The Renogy Pro S1 12V 240Ah LiFePO4 (about 3,000Wh) matches one strong day of production; the Core 12V 300Ah self-heating LiFePO4 adds capacity and sub-freezing charge protection.

Is an inverter included?

No. For 120V AC loads, the REGO 3000W 12V pure sine wave inverter charger stays in the same REGO ecosystem and adds shore-power charging.

Roof mount or ground mount?

The included Z-brackets are for flat surface mounting (RV or shed roof). For ground arrays, source a tilt rack; ground mounting makes seasonal re-angling easy and keeps panels cooler, which helps output.

Can this also charge from my vehicle's alternator?

Not through this controller. Alternator charging requires a separate DC-DC charger installed alongside; call us and we will spec one that coexists with the REGO controller.

Will it work with a 24V battery bank?

The REGO 60A is a 12V-nominal controller per Renogy, so plan this kit around a 12V bank.
