What is your Return Policy?

At OffGrid Horizon, we want every customer to shop with confidence. If something doesn’t go as planned, we’ve made returns and refunds simple and fair. Here’s how it works:

1. Return Window

You can request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. Unfortunately, we’re unable to accept returns after that time frame.

2. Who Pays for Return Shipping?

  • If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we’ll cover the return shipping cost — and you’ll receive a full 100% refund or replacement, including any original shipping costs.
  • If you’re returning an item because you changed your mind, you’ll be responsible for return shipping, and a 25% restocking fee applies.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

Received something broken or not working properly? Contact us within 30 days. We’ll provide a prepaid return label and once the item is returned and inspected, we’ll issue either a full refund or a replacement.

4. Changed Your Mind?

If you no longer want the item, you can return it within 30 days — as long as it’s unused, unopened, in its original packaging, and in resellable condition.

5. Refund Processing

Once we receive and approve your return, we’ll send a confirmation email and issue a refund to your original payment method within 7 business days. Please allow additional time for banks or credit card companies to process and reflect the refund.

This 2-pack of Renogy PRO 12V 200Ah smart lithium iron phosphate batteries builds a 400Ah, 5.12kWh 12V bank with Bluetooth monitoring, self-heating, and IP67-rated housings. Wired in parallel, the pair supports up to 400A of combined continuous discharge — enough headroom for a large 12V inverter and a full day of real loads.

Building a 12V Parallel Bank

These batteries connect in parallel only — per Renogy's manual, series connection is not supported on this model, so the bank stays at 12V and grows in capacity up to 8 batteries (20.48kWh). Good practice for a two-battery bank: use identical cable lengths and gauges to each battery, land system cables diagonally across the bank (positive from one battery, negative from the other) so both batteries share load evenly, and torque terminals to 70.8 in-lb per Renogy. Each battery keeps its own Bluetooth connection, so you can check either one individually in the DC Home app.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I wire these two in series for 24V?
No. Per Renogy's manual, this model supports parallel connection only, up to 8 batteries. For a 24V system, choose a native 24V battery instead.

What does the bank total come to?
In parallel: 400Ah at 12.8V, or 5,120Wh (5.12kWh). Combined continuous discharge capability is up to 400A across the pair when the bank is wired for even current sharing.

Will both batteries show in the app?
Yes. Each battery has its own Bluetooth radio and appears individually in the Renogy DC Home app, so you can compare state of charge and health per battery.

Do they charge below freezing?
Yes. Per Renogy, each battery's self-heating engages below 41°F whenever a stable charge current above 6A is present, and disengages above 50°F. No manual intervention needed.

Should the batteries match in age and charge state?
Yes. Parallel banks work best with identical models at similar state of charge — buying the pair together, as in this 2-pack, is the clean way to start.

What if I need more capacity than 5.12kWh?
